The purpose of this blog is to share our experiences with you. We've learned so much from other blogs and find such joy in building our farm that we wanted to jump on the opportunity of helping others starting a farm. Our passion and calling in this life is shepherding. It comes out in two forms: in the ministry and at home with our animals. Jarrod shepherds a church in our home town and I am his partner in all that goes on with the church. I talk about that {here}. God has allowed us to use our passion of shepherding on animals at home too. We feel like having a farm and working on the land God made with the creatures he made is magnificent. We've both grown up in the country, around animals but have never ventured out and done this ourselves. You'll be witnessing this journey of ours to start our own farm which includes some victories and some failures. We hope you can learn from our mistakes, rejoice with us in our victories, and find humor in our experiences.
